Acrylamide 98% For Synthesis (CAS No. 79-06-1) is an unsaturated primary amide in which a polymerisable carbon–carbon double bond is conjugated with an amide group. This combination gives acrylamide the reactivity of a vinyl monomer together with the polar character associated with the amide functionality.
