Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Aniline Blue (Water Soluble) For Microscopy (CAS No. 28983-56-4) is a water-soluble biological dye used primarily for staining tissue components in microscopy. One of its established histological roles is the blue staining of collagen and related connective-tissue structures, providing clear visual contrast between these fibres and the surrounding cellular material.
The Microscopy grade is intended for the preparation of staining solutions used in histological and cytological work. It is particularly relevant to connective-tissue methods, including Mallory-type staining, and may also be used in Gomori one-step trichrome procedures when methyl blue is specified as the blue component. Its water solubility allows straightforward preparation of aqueous stain solutions, making it suitable for routine microscopy work where consistent colour development and clear tissue differentiation are required.

Storage Conditions
Keep the material tightly closed in a dry place and protect it from moisture and prolonged exposure to light. Reseal the container promptly after dispensing and avoid contamination of the powder so that its solubility and staining behaviour remain consistent.
