Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Benzene 99.5% AR/ACS (CAS No. 71-43-2) is the parent monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, characterised by a planar six-membered carbon ring and a delocalised π-electron system. Its non-polar, aprotic character and symmetrical aromatic structure provide a distinct solvating environment for many non-polar and weakly polar organic substances. These properties have established benzene as a classical reagent solvent and reference compound in analytical and physical-organic chemistry.
The AR/ACS grade is intended for analytical reagent preparation, sample-treatment procedures, extraction and partition studies, and laboratory quality-control methods that specifically prescribe reagent-grade benzene. It is appropriate for established analytical work in which solvent-related impurities may affect reagent blanks, dissolution, phase separation, recovery, or interpretation of experimental results.

Storage Conditions
Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Protect from direct sunlight, heat, ignition sources, evaporation, and contamination. Minimise unnecessary container opening and reseal promptly after use to maintain concentration and analytical cleanliness.
