Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Hydrochloric Acid 32% Extra Pure (CAS No. 7647-01-0) is a concentrated aqueous hydrogen chloride solution that supplies strong acidity and a substantial chloride concentration for general laboratory chemistry. It readily protonates basic functional groups, reacts with acid-sensitive inorganic materials and supports the formation of soluble or isolable chloride salts from compatible starting substances.
The Extra Pure grade is intended for routine preparative and general laboratory operations requiring a concentrated hydrochloric acid reagent. The 32% solution is useful for preparing diluted acid solutions, conducting acid-catalysed transformations, dissolving suitable inorganic materials and establishing concentrated chloride media for synthesis and formulation. Its defined concentration allows controlled reagent addition and any application-specific analysis.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed to limit escape of hydrogen chloride and changes in concentration through evaporation. Protect from excessive heat and contamination and use clean transfer equipment to preserve the stated solution composition.
