Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Hydrochloric Acid 37% ACIPUR For Trace Metal Analysis (CAS No. 7647-01-0) is a concentrated aqueous hydrogen chloride reagent positioned for sample preparation and solution handling in trace and ultratrace elemental analysis. Hydrochloric acid supplies strong acidity and chloride ions that aid dissolution of many inorganic matrices and help maintain selected elements in soluble chloride-containing media during analytical preparation.
The ACIPUR trace-metal-analysis grade is intended for procedures in which reagent-derived elemental contamination must be tightly controlled. It supports preparation of samples, blanks and calibration-related solutions for atomic spectrometric techniques such as AAS and ICP-OES and for method-compatible ICP-MS procedures where chloride media are acceptable. Suitability for a particular elemental method remains dependent on the matrix, target analytes and analytical protocol.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed and protect from evaporation and external contamination so that both acid concentration and trace-element cleanliness are preserved. Use rigorously clean transfer equipment appropriate to trace-metal work and minimise unnecessary exposure during sampling.
