Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Petroleum Ether 80-100°C For Synthesis (CAS No. 8032-32-4) is a higher-boiling non-polar petroleum hydrocarbon fraction defined by its 80-100°C distillation range. Compared with lower-boiling petroleum ether cuts, the material offers reduced volatility during room-temperature handling while retaining hydrophobic solvent behaviour useful in organic synthesis and work-up.
The Synthesis grade is intended for reaction media, extraction, washing, crystallisation and preparative separation where a higher-boiling petroleum solvent is appropriate. The defined boiling-range designation assists in solvent selection based on evaporation rate, extraction conditions, and process temperature.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed and protect from contamination and evaporative composition change. Prevent mixing with lower- or higher-boiling petroleum fractions during storage and transfer.
