Product Overview
Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate 99.5% Extra Pure (CAS No. 877-24-7) is the monopotassium salt of phthalic acid and retains one titratable acidic proton on the aromatic dicarboxylate system. Its reproducible acid–base behaviour and formation of mildly acidic aqueous solutions have made potassium hydrogen phthalate important in fundamental pH, buffer and acid–base chemistry.
The Extra Pure grade is appropriate for general laboratory reagent preparation, buffer studies and acid–base investigations that do not require a certified reference material. A specially prepared high-purity potassium hydrogen phthalate is used in reference pH and acidimetric work.

Storage Conditions
Store tightly closed in a dry, clean environment and protect from contamination during repeated use. Maintain clean handling conditions to preserve reagent composition and acid–base behaviour.
