Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Potassium Hydrogen Sulphate 99% AR (CAS No. 7646-93-7) is an acidic potassium sulphate containing hydrogen sulphate as the counter-anion. Its ability to generate acidic sulphate media and to function in bisulphate fusion chemistry makes it useful in conventional wet-chemical and sample-preparation procedures, particularly where strongly acidic conditions are required without introducing a different cation.
The AR grade is intended for analytical reagent preparation, inorganic sample treatment, acidic digestion or fusion steps and QC procedures where potassium hydrogen sulphate is specified. No primary-standard, certified-reference or trace-metal status is inferred from the stated 99% assay.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed and protected from humid air to minimise moisture uptake by the hygroscopic salt. Avoid alkaline contamination during analytical use because partial neutralisation would alter reagent acidity and therefore its behaviour in sample-treatment procedures.
